The Crane Rental Association of Canada (CRCA), established in 1967, is driven by its mission to provide education for members and end users; feedback to suppliers; an information exchange program and the promotion of value-added services.

Once a year the association gathers for its conference and general meeting. Moving the event across the country, previous meetings were held in Montreal (2015) and Calgary (2016). In 2017, the conference will move to The Algonquin Resort in St. Andrews by-the- Sea, New Brunswick on June 7-10.

Described on CRCA’s website as “a unique annual event giving the opportunity to meet with the leaders of the Canadian crane industry” the conference regularly includes a golf tournament and formal get together event. Presentations at the 2016 event featured speakers from the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers; Build Together, an organization focused on supporting women in construction trades and a session called Crane Rental Accidents – Preventable or Not.

CRCA is made up of members from across North America representing crane companies, manufacturers and suppliers of cranes, equipment and services. For more information, visit crac-canada.com.
