Ontario Building Envelope Council (OBEC) members will learn about building modeling at the group’s Jan. 7 meeting in Markham.
Speaker Ali Nazari ,currently leading the energy modeling and sustainability teams as a principal at Integral Group, will be presenting on the broad range of issues that need to be considered in achieving net-zero and low-carbon buildings, the OBEC announcement says.
“Ali will help identify optimal solutions for a project using different energy sources, technologies, and building systems. Attendees will understand how building developers and design teams are able to make informed decisions on their building features early in the design process, as well as leading their projects to meet their overall performance and sustainability targets.”
