Cloverdale Paint, Canada’s largest Canadian owned and operated paint and coatings manufacturer announced it has expanded its company owned store operations into Ontario. The new facility in Cambridge, Ontario, brings to 70 the total number of wholesale/retail locations the company operates in Canada with a primary focus of servicing professional applicators in both the industrial, protective coatings and architectural segments.
“The paint and coatings industry has changed often through the past decade evolving into only a few foreign, multi-national manufacturers. Cloverdale Paint is proud to have remained a constant in the Canadian markets we serve. Our strength and stability have instilled confidence in our customers and employees alike. We are proud to be the largest family and Canadian owned paint and coatings manufacturer and are very excited to be expanding our store operations into Ontario,” said Martin Mckenna, vice-president of trade sales and group marketing for the company.
Cloverdale Paint transferred store manager Stephanie Guitard from Surrey, BC to the new location and enlisted additional local employees with strong paint and coatings experience, the company said in a news release.
“Cloverdale Paint is proud of the company’s family and home grown roots. Every employee is a stakeholder and participant in company profits. This means that our employees, on every level, are invested in providing their very best to exceed the expectations of the customers we serve,” McKenna said.
Situated in the heart of south western Ontario’s manufacturing region, the new Cloverdale Paint, Cambridge store location is well positioned to provide products and services to industrial, protective coatings users and professional painting contractors providing a retailing outlet for the company’s plant and distribution facility in Mississauga.
