Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) Toronto chapter’s 41st Building Expo is scheduled for Feb. 27, while the same day, the Ottawa Construction Association (OCA) is launching a new symposium and trade show in conjunction with its annual general meeting.
The CSC event at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre’s South building, is “longest running technical trade show for architects, designers, developers, engineers, facility managers, specification writers, and construction professionals.
This year’s theme is construction, connectivity and wellness. Meanwhile, also on Feb. 27, in Ottawa the OCA will hold its first eastern Ontario Construction Industry Symposium and Trade Show.
“As part of the association’s strategic plan to develop greater opportunities for the industry to network, to learn and to grow their business potential, the OCA is developing this new annual symposium initially as a full day event in 2019 with plans to expand into two days in 2020,” the OCA says in a statement.
The event combines exhibits, “a first class series of presentations” and the association’s annual general meeting and cocktail reception.
