Infrastructure Ontario and Casey House have shortlisted six companies to build and finance the Casey House facility replacement project.
The new facility will improve care and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS.
The shortlisted companies include: Bird Capital LP; Eastern Construction; EllisDon Capital; Graham Construction and Engineering, and Harbridge & Cross; CL Constructors Canada; and WCC Construction Canada.
The replacement project involves renovating an existing heritage property at 571 Jarvis St. and incorporating a new 48,000-sq. ft. facility to be built at 119 Isabella St.
The new facility will feature 14 in-patient beds, office space for the home care programs, therapy rooms and community space for day health programs, new space for administrative and support services and underground parking for 15 vehicles.
The companies will be asked to respond to a request for proposals (RFP) to be issued in early 2014.
