Ontario Erectors Association advocates for professionalism of contractors employing Ironworkers Union members

The Ontario Erectors Association (OEA) represents more than 300 contractors who employ unionized Ironworkers, encouraging stability and respect for the industry’s skilled tradespeople and businesses.

The OEA transcends its traditional role as a unionized contractor employer bargaining authority by working co-operatively with Ontario-based Ironworkers Union locals on apprenticeship training and co-operatively marketing unionized contractor advantages.

The union’s full name is the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Ironworkers, but the union generally addresses itself as the Ironworkers Union.
