It’s hard to believe that it is already December and we are weeks away from a brand-new year! It has been a busy year for work and home life; from the 30-foot-long ramp installed for my daughter Aubrey who started junior kindergarten in September to the ownership change over at the company and becoming the new president for the Construction News and Report Group of companies in August. What has your company accomplished this year?
In 2025 we have plans for expansion into a few new US markets, expanding our newsletter reach in existing markets, reviews of expenditures and how to reinvest the funds into growth and client retention. One initiative we rolled out for client retention was a customer survey launched a few months back. Since the start I have been amazed almost daily with the positive feedback from our customers in the Ontario market without any complaints. If you visit our website here you can see many of these great comments from our clients Certificates/notices: You can get started here – Ontario Construction News . It is important to note that no reward was offered for their feedback.
With the success in Ontario, we are looking to roll out a survey for our US markets in Chicago, California, New York, Florida and North Carolina and nationally with www.dcnreport.com . Whether positive or negative, feedback can help you shift your focus on what is working and new ideas to help with retention and growth. They help highlight the benefits of your service and can be used in approaching potential new customers by being able to demonstrate how you can back up what you claim to offer.
What projects or initiatives did you roll out in 2024 that helped your business with growth, retention or cost controls? Share your story and we provide free editorial coverage or you could even submit a guest column. For the month of December, we will compiling “Good News” stories from across the construction sector to recognize the charitable contributions our clients, readers and members of the industry make. If your company is donating or hosting events, please share the details and results to run in our news section. Any questions please message me chase@ontarioconstructionnews.com
