The Ontario General Contractors Association’s (OGCA) eleventh Construction Symposium, April 11 to 13, will continue its traditions — combining intense education, networking and entertainment, at a truly reasonable cost for participants.
The bi-annual Blue Mountain Resort event is expected to attract about 700 attendees and 48 exhibitors have reserved booths or tables for the event’s trade show, says OGCA office manager Mary Wademan.
OGCA members who reserved early could register for the program for $300 (later registration is $400). This fee includes meals, entertainment and dozens of educational seminars. Of course there are hotel accommodation and travel costs, but Blue Mountain room rates are reasonable especially in the April season. Non-OGCA members can also attend, at a higher rate.
The reason the conference is inexpensive to participants is its extensive network of more than 45 sponsors, representing a cross section of industry suppliers and service providers. Ontario Construction Report/The Construction News and Report Group is among the sponsors.
