Beaverfest, sponsored in part by STC Construction Group Inc., brought 80’s-style rock to Windsor’s Riverfront Festival Plaza from May 31 through June 2.
“This year saw roughy 8,000 people attend over the two days,” said David Hunter, STC’s business development manager. He is a partner in co-ordinating the event, in its third year. The event’s platinum sponsor was the Labourers International Union of North America (LiUNA)
The program included live bands Loverboy & Trooper, along with Tom Cochrane with Red Rider and Kim Mitchell, Platinum Blond. On the final “fun day” local bands entertained the audience at free concerts.
