A few students from Lockerby Composite School in Sudbury earned provincial kudos for their contributions to local construction.

Skills Ontario and Milwaukee Tools recently named these construction technology students at Lockerby Composite School “community builders.”

The Sudbury Star said students who took the course have been manufacturing buildings and other structures for Camp Manitou in the Bay of Islands for the past 10 years. Camp Manitou offers a low-cost week of camping for boys and girls aged eight to 16.

The prize pack students received from Milwaukee Tools  Milwaukee included mitre saws, jigsaws, drills and circular saws.
