Significant changes to the Ontario Building Code and NAFS-08 are scheduled to be implemented on January 1, 2014, Fenestration Canada says in news release. All companies including window & door fabricators, sellers and renovators will be affected.
Fenestration Canada in collaboration with major door supplier members has scheduled a series of information seminars designed to update door pre-hangers on building code compliance, testing requirements and provide a general interpretation on the Ontario Building Code and NAFS-08. Seminar locations include London – September 12th; Ottawa – September 19th and Toronto – September 27th. Registration fees are $50 / members; $75 / non-members plus HST.
