Hydraulics specialist John Siegenthaler will be the breakfast keynote speaker at CMPX 2016 on March 17.
He will present a 90 minute workshop titled: “Low Ambient Air-to-water Heat Pumps – An Emerging Renewable Energy Heat Source”, discussing the basics of low ambient air-to-water heat pumps with examples of how they can be combined with hydronic heating and cooling distribution systems. Siegenthaler will also compare the performance and cost of such systems to geothermal-source water-to-water heat pump systems..
“CMPX, the Canadian Mechanical and Plumbing Exposition continues to be the biggest HVACR and Plumbing Show in Canada and it has achieved an unmatched track record over the past 40 years,” said show chairman Gerry Cellucci of Yorkland Controls. “The show theme is, ‘one show – the entire industry’ and that is a powerful attraction to exhibitors and attendees alike. CMPX has proven to be the most effective way to meet with the entire mechanical industry, all under one roof, for three exciting days of networking, education and new technologies.”
Jointly presented since 1972 by the industry’s leading associations, HRAI, the Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada and CIPH, the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating, the CMPX show is Canada’s national trade show for the mechanical industries including air-conditioning, heating (forced-air and hydronics), plumbing, industrial, waterworks, water quality, piping, refrigeration and ventilation.
