Landscape Ontario’s Upper Canada Chapter is co-ordinating two seminars in Belleville with Jeff McMann, described as a leading expert on grounds maintenance.
“Besides teaching, he has judged provincial and national landscape awards programs, and is a longstanding member of LO’s Grounds Management Sector Group,”the Landscape Ontario announcement says. “He is an ISA-certified arborist with the Mount Pleasant Group of cemeteries.”

This seminar will unlock some of the theory and techniques needed to attain an eye-catching landscape, and the importance of attention to detail. Learn how those who deliver superior results are not simply doing more of the same things everyone else does; they are doing things better. Explore the details and advanced techniques needed to deliver excellent landscape maintenance in today’s changing world.
Grounds Maintenance Estimating: Fri. April 10. 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Develop an understanding of the essentials of producing a competitive estimate, from beginning to end. This seminar will also examine the various types of proposals. At the end, you will be able to write good, concise proposals for all your future projects.
Both seminars will take place in meeting room ‘Pro Shop D’ at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre, Belleville.
