WoodWORKS! Ontario is offering two workshops, in Waterloo and Hamilton, about Fire Safety in Modern Wood Buildings.
“This workshop was designed to provide fire-related information to municipal officials, fire services personnel, and other industry professionals who want to learn more about mid-rise wood buildings,” the WoodWORKS! announcement says. “Attend this seminar and gain valuable insight into the fire safety of mid-rise buildings.”
The Waterloo program is scheduled for Wednesday, May 25 from at the Delta Waterloo, 100 Erb St. W. The Hamiton program on May 26 operates the same hours at the Sheraton Hamilton, 100 King St. W.
Both events are free.
